Fern Academy’s parent school, Blue Ribbon Academy of Youth Education, grew up in the local Chino community. After five years of experiencing its own triumphs and tribulations, Blue Ribbon expanded as it realized the value it brought to students. Like the children it taught, Blue Ribbon was resilient upon facing challenges and never faltered in achieving its own goals of empowering children to succeed by establishing meaningful connections.

In the wake of Covid-19, we offer various virtual classes to ensure our students continue learning in a safe and healthy environment.

Our virtual classes include ELA, ESL, Math, Reading Comprehension/Creative Writing, Chinese, Spanish, Robotics Kids , and Little Readers' Club, etc. Classes are designed for various age groups.

Program Description

EXPLORATION OF ART
A program where students are exposed to various types of visual art. This program ranges from the paper and utensil to sculpting and molding with clay.
Exploration of Art
A program in which students learn the basics of dance and movement, while also being exposed to the diverse cultural dances around the world.

A program where students are given the chance to learn Spanish and Mandarin at an introductory level.

Life Essential
A program that focuses on mindfulness and the idea of learning patience. This particular work allows students to focus and meditate on the concentration of any study. This program is offered to children ages 4+.

This program allows students to have hands-on experiences on smart devices, and learn how technology is changing our everyday lives and to be part of it.
SMART LIVING
Smart Living
A program centered on allowing students to focus on their speaking skills. Not normally something learned in school, this particular enrichment focuses on the ability for students to deliver and effectively speak to crowds.
YOUTH TOASTMASTER
Leadership Development
Beginning at ages 5 and up, students are given the opportunity to learn the basics of instruments, how they sound and how they create their own timbres in songs to developing confidence in reading and understanding the basic musical theory.
MUSIC & MOVEMENT
Music & Movement
Based on how anyone can make their own clothing, students will get a start on how to design, pick out, and create their own styles of clothing. Students will be given opportunities to showcase their work and designs.

A program that designed for kids at all levels to learn and use Chinese, and help open up the door to a splendid culture and history
